The Brown’s Birthday
Best of friends, sisters Karol (01/24/03) and Anna (01/20/99) have put aside a special day each year in the winter to celebrate their birthdays together…
And this year you’re invited!
Join us on February 4th at Gus’ Pub in Halifax N.S. as we raise funds for The Pavilion Youth Association a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and growing our provinces all ages music community.
This is a 19+ Event.
Acoustic Hour
7:30pm
Enjoy a social acoustic hour featuring music from singer-songwriter Karol Brown and face-painting by Emma Allen.
The Rock Show
9:00pm
Featuring some of Halifax’s finest. Catch Skunk Motel kicking off the night with their energetic live set; then lean into the twists and turns of the story-telling of POSTFUN before Bring Me Sleep wake you up with their siren vocals and heavy melodies. Don’t forget to stick around for Dartmouth legends Sleepy Kicks and their sticky, sweaty, set of raging riffs and hollering harmonies.
About The Pavilion Youth Association
The Pavilion Youth Association is a non-profit organization run by volunteers dedicated to keeping all-ages music and events alive in our Province. For decades, the Pavilion presented performances out of its home across from the Halifax commons. Showcasing music from local artists, touring bands, and iconic acts such as: Thrush Hermit, Sloan, Marianas Trench, and many more. However, with new plans for the space, the city recently asked the Pavilion to vacate their familiar home, leaving a gap in our province's all ages music community. Currently working to relocate their physical space, the Pavilion is still working to find new ways to involve and support youth in our music community.
